It has 2-button closure, inner lining, and 4 functionable pockets: 2 in the front and 2 buttoned in the back. When worn, it hits a couple of inches above the knee. The shorts have only been tried on once and never worn out. It has mostly stayed folded in a dresser. The color of the shorts may be a bit darker than they appear in the photos, due to the sunlight.
