Unique Antique Hummingbird, Horse and Maple Leaves Pin/Brooch

This large brooch is unique in the marketplace. It was designed with a large leaf in the back that attached to a horse head, and a hummingbird carrying a star in the front. In the past, the horses represent soldiers, and in the Bible, hummingbirds symbolize a messenger from the afterlife, bringing good news from loved ones who have passed away. They are seen as a sign from heaven that can come to people who are mourning or feeling lost. Therefore, I guess it is a kind of antique military brooch/pin, but I’m not sure 100%.
