Unique Silver Carrot Lapel or Hat pin

This one of a kind pin is a 3-D miniature carrot complete with the feathery top leaves. It polished up like sterling silver but I couldn't find the 925 stamp mark. There is a stamp mark on the pin back "BALLOU".
