Unique chunky amethyst brooch set and framed in sterling silver.

This brooch is crafted around the shape of the piece of amethyst, so is one of a kind. About 1-1/2 inches in diameter (though not perfectly round) and weighing about 44 grams. Marked Sterling Silver, JW (a maker's mark I haven't been able to track down) and an image (three Cs?). In great shape, with some patina and light scratches on the back.
