Unique style oval ring with thimble looking front. Silvertone, gold tone sz 5-6

This is an oval style ring which resembles a thimble and has a unique design. No markings that I can see and looks plated. If anyone can comment on it, I would appreciate it. I don’t know what it’s made of but doesn’t stick to a magnet so could be silver. I will have it checked out. It has a good weight. Just putting it out there for comments and will sell once I know what it’s made of.
