Unisex Robert Lee Morris RLM Sterling Silver and Black Braided Leather Bracelet

For over 25 years I have enjoyed pieces by Robert Lee Morris. I love this leather/silver look! This is an unusual unisex RLM piece (Let’s face it about 1/2 of this jewelry maker’s work is unusual). It is sterling silver as per the 925 mark (some of his pieces are brass or plate or even just any old pot-metal so don’t assume that the description silver tone on any of his work is sterling) but the top of the toggle is super smooth and long while the bottom of the toggle is a hammered look (maybe for engraving?). The hole through which the toggle goes through is the opposite - hammered look on the top, smooth on the bottom (maybe because the rectangle sits against your wrist). This leather/silver bracelet is large and I could never wear it because it would shift around on my wrist. My wrist measures 7 inches, the bracelet measures 8 and 1/2 + inches.
