🎁Unisex brooch-🇨🇦artisan-“floating duck” hand painted vintage fr/the 1970's

When you pin it, it looks like it is floating on the water! A peaceful and beautiful piece. Artistically made make mallard duck with amazing details. Proportions and colours are true to that species. This is a male mallard species: very common : I even had a female nesting in my garden last year: have a look at the nest she left after a few of her chicks hatched! Nature is amazing! The small pin on the back has a plate to hold it and is in good working order. It is made of man/made resin. It was molded and handpainted by a local artist from Montreal. If you look at the picture with the angle from above, you will see that it has very small chips but these do not show when the broch is pinned. Otherwise. Like new condition. From the 1970's
