V. 1950s Off-White Lucite Thermoset Cabochon Earrings

These vintage earrings come to us from the 1950s and have clip on backings made of a silver tone metal. The off-white/beige oval cabochon is made of a lucite thermoset and is smooth and hard. If you look closely, there is a very faint cloudy/swirly/internal crack pattern as a result of the materials used. The cabochon does not glow under UV light. The earrings have normal wear, including a fair bit of tone loss/change in the metal backings, as well as some darkening around them where some visible glue has darkened over time.
