V. 9-Strand Beaded Torsade Necklace

This vintage necklace has 9 beaded strands and has a loop and coin closure. The coin is a 1978 Hong Kong 50 cent coin, and the loop is made of what looks like braided wax cord. The beads are mostly all white, except for right near the clasp where they're red. I'm not sure of the bead material but it feels like wood with a lacquer, vs a solid plastic. There is normal vintage wear in the beads and some miscolouring in the clasp loop from the coin, but there are no issues that affect wearability.
