V. Blue Glass Beaded Necklace

This vintage necklace is beaded and has an adjustable c clasp closure made of a silver tone metal (with the extension chain being a later addition). The necklace is strung with 2 types of beads: small faceted grey plastic beads with an AB (aurora borealis) coating, and larger spherical blue glass beads with fine faceting. The weight of the glass beads in the front helps keep the necklace facing the right direction, and the combination of the faceting and AB coating make sure the necklace picks up light beautifully.
