V. Rhinestone Eye Dog Pendant Necklace

This vintage pendant necklace comes to us from the 1970s and is made of a gold tone metal with a c clasp closure. There is a bit of a tone difference between the chain (very gold) and the pendant, which is much lighter/silver, but still gold tone. The chain itself is lightweight with fairly standard links. The pendant is shaped like a sitting dog with a big 'ol head. There are large oval cut-outs where the eyes should be, with 2 white/clear rhinestones dangling down in the sockets. The dog also seems to have a funny haircut, like someone gave it a bowl cut. The necklace has normal wear throughout, including some loss of sparkle in the rhinestones (one more than the other - see pic 3), the tone discrepancy between the chain and pendant, and the tone darkening in the metal rings holdings the rhinestone eyes in place.
