V. Ross-Simons 925 Green Spinel Technibond Parure

This beautiful vintage parure by Ross Simons is gold toned but made of sterling silver ("gold over sterling"). I could not determine the purity of the gold or the method of application. This set includes a ring, a necklace, and a pair of pierced earrings. All the pieces feature a triangle of small clear/white stones with a faceted green spinel stone inside. Similar pieces by this maker use CZ, so that is the most likely candidate for the white stone. The ring is stamped "925 [RS mark] 5 CHINA" on the inside of the band and is, indeed, a size 5. The earrings have hinge back closures and are each stamped "925 [RS mark]" on the hinge and "925 CHINA" on the dangling triangles. The necklace has a clasp closure which is stamped "925 ITALY [RS mark], 925" but the pendant is stamped "925 CHINA". The pieces have some minor tone wear but are in good condition overall. The spinel was tested with a gem tester. There are no missing or damaged stones. The ring has some tone issue on the inside near the band.
