The influence of the Taegukgi, the national flag of South Korea, can be seen with the red and blue paneling featured on the medial and lateral sides of the Old Skool and the heel overlay on the Slip-On. The standout feature of the collection is the Korean typography seen throughout both sneakers, with “Vans” phonetically spelled out in Korean on the heel of the Old Skool and on the upper of the Slip-On and “Off The Wall” also spelled out phonetically on the sidewall of both sneakers.
