[VIKING PLATE / REED & BARTON] Vintage Silver Pumpkin Tea Set (3 pcs.)

This is a 'frankensteined' set using vintage items which go well together to form a lovely Halloween or autumn harvest centerpiece, which will add a lavish yet cozy character to any room. The pumpkin-shaped teapot and the small creamer are from Viking Plate (Canada, c. 1930-50) and the larger creamer with hinged lid is from Reed & Barton (USA, No. 3515, c. 1880-1910). These are silver-plated pieces. The teapot is electro-plated copper and the cream bowl is electro-plated brass, while the R&B creamer is simply marked as "plated". Please be advised that the VP pieces are marked "lead mounts". The teapot appears to have a Bakelite handle. These pieces are by NO means flawless. They have been heavily used and improperly cleaned by previous owner(s). They were already scratched, had various dents, and were nearly black with tarnish when acquired, we had polished them up to a very pretty shine but it has been a long time since listing and they are tarnished again, will NOT be polishing them again, so be prepared to repolish them when you receive them.
