The art glass bowl shown is identified as a "Rhapsody" glass bowl, designed by František Zemek for Mstisov Glassworks in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s. Czechoslovakia existed as a country in Central Europe from 1918 to 1992. It was then peacefully dissolved into two separate states: the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
