Vintage 50s a-line wool and camel hair knee length skirt by Jaeger. Jaeger was founded in 1884 by British businessman Lewis Tomalin as 'Dr Jaeger's Sanitary Woollen System Co Ltd'. The skirt is fully lined. Side metal zipper with hook closure. Skirt color is oat. Made in Great Britain. Listed as a size 18. Best fit a size M based on measurements. Measurements: Waist - 29 inches Length - 24.75 inches Hip - 41 inches Hem - 46.5 inches This is a pre-owned item. Note, there is a faint discoloration spot on the lower front right side - as shown in the photo. Otherwise, the garment is in great condition for being 70 years old. This item has not been dry cleaned, but has been steamed. Therefore, the faint discoloration mark may come out with dry cleaning or spot cleaning. Vintage clothing sizes can vary greatly.
