VINTAGE 60’s Wedding Dress

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G wedding dress from 1961! That is what the tag read when I bought it : “My Wedding Dress 1961” This dress is buttery soft velvet fabric and as far as I can see it does not have a stain or mark on it anywhere on the outside!! It has a gorgeous V neckline and V backside and the sleeves cuffs are pointed with short zippers on the inside as shown. Zipper back with hook at the top (**please note the part the hook would hook into is missing as shown**) and beautiful pleats throughout that make it flattering and create a magical flowing skirt. Full disclosure: as perfect as the outside is, the inside has some stains, tiny pin size red so not sure if those are tiny blood stains possibly from when it was being fitted perhaps? This is shown in the last photo and is up by the shoulder inside area where it has a loop for a hanger. This comes with a skirt slip to poor it up if wished -PLEASE NOTE the slip does have lots of signs of wear including stains as shown and some tears in the crinoline! It has a little tie to do it up which would also need some mending if wished to use! But wouldn’t take much. Again, the outside looks like it could be new and is INCREDIBLY soft. This is a true princess style dress in my opinion. There is no tag but a German I believe script hidden inside near the arm hole as shown! Super cool.
