VINTAGE | Brass and Copper Portable Ashtray / Beggars Cup

The internet is divided on this piece. Made from brass & copper, it has a handle in which an index finger fits through perfectly. It could be a beggars cup, or a travel ashtray. The flanged lid halfway down has a slight indent, possibly to balance cigarettes. No makers marks. •Good pre-owned condition. Patina consistent with age. No jokes, minor denting.
