VINTAGE Dooney & Burke saddle cross body top grain leather black purse bag

Amazing condition VINTAGE Dooney & Burke leather saddle bag. This is the original high quality Dooney & Burke, before labels were a thing and top grain leather was used in making bags, unlined inner, heavy metal hardware. You can tell the quality of the leather as soon as you pick it up, the inner tag was cut and I almost gave up on figuring out the brand until after researching I found then only spot of branding was on the inner side of the button hardware on the strap. Some site say this bag is dated back to as far as 1950s. Leather is embossed texture. Some signs of wear along the trim and straps, minor scuffs of outer body, some tarnish areas on the metal hardware (just needs a polish, or even leave it for the aged look). See photos for condition. The distressing is amazing and you can see this bag looks better with age. Comes from pet free smoke free home. *note: vintage items will have some signs of aging. My favorite items to list are like new vintage. Although vintage items generally have amazing quality, some signs of aging are unavoidable.
