VINTAGE E.O BRODY COMPANY Ribbed Green Glass Bowl, Made in the U.S.A

E.O. Brody Company ribbed glass bowl in avocado green, circa 1960s or early 1970s. This is a classic bowl to use as a tricket bowl, candy dish or would look lovely as a large bud bowl with beautiful large blooms. Made in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. E.O. Brody Company, of Cleveland, Ohio was established in 1958 by Ernest Oscar Brody. The company is not an actual glass manufacturer, but a distributor/wholesaler that markets utilitarian and decorative glassware (and ceramic items) made especially for the florist industry. The glass has been made in the United States, evidently, for the most part by Indiana Glass Company, and later (after c. 2007) by Anchor Hocking Company.
