VINTAGE GC Japan Songbirds of Canada Souvenir Collectible Hand Painted Painted

Vintage bone china plate by GC Japan depicts Songbirds of Canada in French and English. The back of the plate has a sticker that says "Napco Originals by Gift Craft". Also on the back is a maple leaf with Banff, Canada as well as the makers mark GC Japan Fine China, Hand Painted and the numbers "1M 4250". The front depicts 12 different songbirds of Canada including: Rose-Breasted Gosbeak, Song Sparrow, Rossignol, Meadowlark, Robin, Baltimore Oriole, Bobolink, Brown Thrasher, Cardinal, Starling, Pine Warbler, Bluebird, Scarlet Tanager, Winter Wren. Please see photos for dimensions. 8" diameter. Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. One area on edge of plate is rough, this flaw is part of the manufacturing process.
