VINTAGE Glo-Hill Gourmates Chrome Bakelite Serving Tray Original Box Mid-Century

Gourmates Glo-Hill vintage 1960s square chrome serving tray. Beautiful cherry wine coloured bakelite removable centre handle that attaches with a screw, and raised feet. Perfect for entertaining or your dining table. Comes with original box and original gift enclosure tags in English and French. Please see photos for approximate measurements. 10.75" x 10.75". 1.75" tall, centre handle is 3.5" tall. Very good vintage condition. There are a few superficial light marks that would be expected with the age of the tray. Bakelite is in beautiful condition. Silver tone trim on top of the handle has a flaw. Original box shows discolouration and signs of wear on exterior. Please see the photos and video for detail. This will be carefully packaged for shipping, with the centre handle removed for shipment. Founded in Montreal in 1945, the Glo-Hill Company was the creation of brothers-in-law Jack Globus and Harry Hill. The serving pieces were known as Gourmates.
