VINTAGE Maple Leaf Tartan Waistcoat Plaid Button Front Vest Made Canada

Vintage maple leaf tartan waistcoat button front vest with olive green back. Adjustable strap and buckle on the back. Tag says Maple Leaf Tartan, Novelty Apparel Ltd, Toronto, Canada. Missing material tag, however, vest front is wool. Three welted pockets. Missing bottom 3 buttons. Top 3 buttons are gold colour metal with maple leafs on them. Dry cleaned before listing. According to the Scottish Register of Tartans, "The colours of the maple leaf through the changing seasons became the basis for this asymmetric tartan designed by David Weiser in 1964." This was adopted by the Canadian government as one of its official symbols. Missing size tag. Based on measurements I have listed as size S Men's.
