VINTAGE POLISH Handmade Decorative Wood Lathed/Carved Plate with Floral Design

This Polish wooden plate was made from Linden wood in the mountain region of southern Poland called Podhale.  The plates are cut and shaped on a lathe by hand.  The floral designs are burned into the wood then painted after staining and varnishing. In excellent pre-loved condition, it is a delightful work of folk art to be cherished for generations!
