VINTAGE ROYAL WINTON PLATE

This is vintage plate made by Royal Winton in England. 10" dimension there are signs of wear and tear due to age,some crazing presented.however,the gold is still very bright and not faded. About Royal winton: The Royal Winton brand has always been synonymous with quality and design and has roots in Stoke-on-Trent, England that go back over one hundred years. Originally known as Grimwade Brothers it was founded in 1885. In 1913 King George V and Queen Mary visited the potteries and granded Grimwade the title "Royal". The Queen purchased a Winton Teaset and was delighted to be presented with a gift of a Mecca Foot Warmer (an oval ceramic hot water bottle). C.1951-1964
