VINTAGE Tooled Leather Purse with Hand Painted Flowers

This is a nice vintage hand tooled and painted saddle bag, handbag or purse. It is well made with nice and thick leather.  Nicely crafted and tooled with hand painted flowers. The fastening is a leather string which wraps around a wooden button. The inside has one large compartment that shows wear. I don’t believe the previous owner took very good care of it. In the fall, I applied a premium mink oil to it, to condition the leather and to make it waterproof. It definitely made a difference! Some of the moisture was restored, and the leather feels great. The outside has some scuffing and some wear, which is typical for this age bag. I didn’t find any markings on this to indicate the year or maker. Please let the photos be the best description. There is a faint vintage smell to it that I can’t seem to get rid of. These measurements are approximate.
