This is a vintage Victorian lady figurine made in Japan. The figurine definitely was an attempt to imitate the popular Florence Ceramics figurines. Florence was produced in Pasadena, but was plagued by Japanese imitators. This figurine is stamped simply with Japan on its underside. It measures 71/2 in height and is in very good condition
