VINTAGE Y2K | Lilac Purple Floral Sequin Maxi Dress Prom Formal Wedding sz 2

Vintage Y2K, this beautiful dress was my prom dress when I graduated high school in 2000. I also wore it to a handful of weddings and similar formal events. It’s absolutely stunning, hugging you in all the rights places. It’s a lovely shade of lilac purple with hand applied floral-shaped sequins throughout the bodice. There’s no tags but I purchased it in 2000 from a boutique in Yorkville, Toronto called San Remo. It carried mostly European, and specifically, French designers. From my measurements it’s best suited for a size 2. Approx measurements laid flat: 58.5” length from shoulder to hem 16.5” pit to pit 13” waist (with stretch to the fabric up to 15”) It’s lined with a full length slip, likely made of polyester. The fabric of the dress itself is a gauzy fabric, perhaps polyester too. It is darted at the bust (so there’s space for your girls) with a scoop neckline and spaghetti straps. I had a professional seamstress sew in tabs in the interior armpit area to hook into a strapless bra, so it doesn’t show. In excellent used condition. No tears or rips, but two small stains that you reaaallly need to look for. See last two pics. The first stain shown is also on the slip. Both stains may come out with a dry clean.
