VINTAGE hand tooled leather purse

Lovely vintage handmade purse but *NEEDS REPAIR*. When I say needs, I actually used it as is for literally years with the strap knotted (see pictures). I bought it already like this. All it needs is a new rivet for that one side of the strap. An easy fix for someone who knows what they’re doing but that’s not me. Bag is old & shows signs of wear throughout. Mostly scratching throughout the leather. This may be able to be buffed with conditioner/polish. It is a thick but soft leather (not as stiff as some). The floral piece is brass. I loved this for years & would wear it with a pair of cowboy boots. I haven’t grabbed it out of the closet for the last couple years so it’s time to pass my beloved bag on. It has a slightly shorter strap so does better over one shoulder unless you are very tiny it may work as a crossbody! Someone love it like I use to!!
