VIntage Wooden with Brass Lid container~So cute

I suspect this is from India mainly due to the fine detailing and hand painted brass lid. So cute, this rich wooden base container is perfect to keep all sorts of goodies in it. Beautiful woodgrain finished to a satin finish. Light weight. I don't recognize the wood grain. but it is lovely and adorable!
