This is a genuine vintage mid 1950s mary maxim Canadiana shawl collar Native american/Canadian graphic knit cowichan cardigan Features include amazing Canada goose designs on the front and back, shawl collar, vintage early lightning bell shaped metal zip in good working order This would best fit up to a size 43” chest (medium) BUT please check your measurements (in inches) against the ones provided below Chest (armpit to armpit): 22.5” 45”) Sleeve lengths (armpit to cuff): 17” Length from shoulder to hem: 25” Condition is to be expected for a sweater that was made in the 1950s, it is fully lined on the inside and is exceptional no rips, stains or tears on the inside, there has been repairs done to the elbow as pictured, the sleeves are stretched out from wearing it flipped up/flipped under/rolled him, but the measurements are from an unrolled him does look like there’s the occasional repair done, but nothing pressing, everything is intact and wearable condition is an absolute amazing piece of Canadiana history!
