VTG Aquascutum England Showerproof Wool Glencheck Balmacaan Overcoat 40-42/Large

Stunning vintage Aquascutum balmacaan in a beautiful Prince of Wales check. In excellent, gently used condition. No holes, smells or any of the issues that typically accompany a garment of this vintage. Made in England in a showerproof wool. Features pass through pocket, a three button closure, raglan sleeves and a respectable classic length. Tag in the pocket seems to indicate this is a 42 short, but sizing has changed considerably in the last few decades, so it's best to go by the measurements. This would fit a Large/ 40-42, depending on how much you wanted to layer underneath. The approximate measurements, all hand-measured by me, are as follows: Pit to pit: 24.5 inches Length from middle back under neck to end of sleeve: 31.5 inches Length measured from bottom of collar to base of jacket : 39.5 inches
