Both pieces are signed on the bottom

Dorchester Pottery was founded in 1895 by George Henderson in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The pottery produced, particularly the blue and white decorated pieces, became highly sought after by collectors from 1940 until its closure in 1979. The pattern of star-shaped flowers is not known as as blue pine cone pattern. Both are notable designs from this period, reflecting the company's artistic evolution and popularity in the market
