VTG Rare James Sadler Cube Teapot, Creamer, (1940's) Pink/Baby Pink, Gold Encrusted, collector's teapot, vintage tea party 2085
Sadler teapot was made in the cube-shape and the back-stamp dates it 1940's. The 4-cup Teapot stands 6" high to the top of the lid finial x 9 1/2" from spout to handle. Embossed scroll-work on the side panels is trimmed with gold and decorated with a delightful pattern of golden snowflakes. The teapot finial, handle, spout, upper rim and footed base are lavished in gold and some wear has been noted as seen in close-up photos.
The creamer is 3'' tall
5 1/2'' long (spout to handle)
James Sadler founded his company in 1882 and soon became famous for his fine earthenware teapots. A Sadler teapot became synonymous with quality and good taste.
