Vera Pelle - Italian Leather Belt - Size 38

This vintage(?) belt has unique features which I try to show in the images: the leather at the front of the belt has been made to look like its cracked, on both sides of the buckle there are 4 metal screws holding the back part of the belt, which is smooth leather. The brass buckle has a roll-bar so sliding the belt's tongue in and out has less friction and wear on the leather. The underside, near the buckle is an unusual brass screw with a "handle", the purpose of the screw, imo, is to allow the buckle to swivel a bit, accomodating the wearer's movements. The belt is stamped "Made in Italy". The inside back is printed with "Bergé Uomo" - Made in Italy - Vera Pelle and size: 38/95/1415. The belt was cleaned and refurbished with Dubbin. The buckle could be polished to a shiny brass colour but imo it looked better the way I found it.
