Very vintage shell cameo necklace

Detailed, refined and delicate! The slightly convex cameo is about 7/8" long and has an ornate fluted gold tone frame. The fancy bail attaches to the 16" brass tone chain on two sides. There are no markings on this timeless piece, which is in very good shape (and looks spectacular when held up against the light!). The ring between the bail and cameo pendant may have been replaced, as it appears to be silver in colour - it could easily be replaced again, with a gold tone ring.
