This is an elegant platform sandal with a bold, architectural design that still manages to look graceful and feminine. Exactly what one would expect from Vicini. This pair features mixed materials - a sleek black patent leather wedge platform supported by an additional 1" bold white rubber sole with serrated tread measures 5" total heel height, offset by a 2.5" total platform height. The uppers, slender gladiator-style straps, are a gorgeous fusion of rust suede and black leather. Subtle, minimalist design with exquisite detailing, and not so high you can't walk in them. Imagine this pair with an avant-garde fashion week outfit or with a sharp statement suit in a boardroom. They definitely exude presence. I purchased these just before my knees started going downhill, and never wore them. The box has been in deep storage ever since. I still love them, but I have too many shoes!
