Victorian Black Beaded Lace Caplet Mourning Cape Antique 19th Century Embellish

Exquisite late 1800s Victorian caplet with stand up collar. Features intricate beadwork and delicate cotton lace on interior collar. Deep black jet beads. Six front metal fastening with hook and eyes. Damage and shattering to interior lining, please see photos. Some minor areas on beading with loose threads and missing beads. Looks like some of the beading may have been repaired with brown thread. Apart from that the exterior is in great shape considering the age of this piece.
