Victorian mourning brooch, carved floral mourning jewelry

A sweet little black brooch, carved with a central rose with leaves and branches flowing to the sides. The material feels like an old form of plastic or celluloid. There is a small piece, a looping branch missing and there are small bubbles visible on the break line under magnification. The back is a brass C clasp, the pin slightly bent and with some staining, but fully functional. Size: 4.3 cm wide x 1.1 cm high
