Victorian pinchbeck locket, vintage gold tone photo locket, ornate stowage

...pendant, mourning locket A beautiful ornate Victorian locket in a *very* light weight material - possibly pinchbeck - possibly a gold wash or plating on metal. The outside with angular raised and engraved leaves band going in a diagonal. Both the back and the front with the same decorations. The hinge pin is nicely finished. The loop on top looks soldered for security. The inside of the locket is empty with discoloration on the metal showing. The sides are quite straight and this locket would be suitable to put something else in besides photos. It closes flush and securely with a dull click.
