licksygenny Hello again, do these shorts sit & fit slightly lower at the waist ? I'm asking because the rise is 8 1/2" & the waist is 15 1/2 . When I compare to Tommy Hilfiger size 0 shorts - rise is 9" & waist is 14". TH fits me & I have not heard of Vineyard Vines before. I want to be sure before I purchase. Thank-you

licksygenny I think these shorts do sit lower in the waist because the zipper is shorter as per your picture and therefore the waist measures 15 1/2 " - that makes sense. Good to know they are a high end brand in the US. Thanks for the information.
