Vintage 100% alpaca poncho

Thick vintage 100% alpaca fringed poncho. Features a cowl neck, a cream/mocha/light tan colour gradient and a cream/brown aztec motif towards the base. The fabric is not matted. This is a normal look for an alpaca poncho of this vintage, camelid fur can do this, even when it is knit. I'm a wildlife biologist and the way the knit who actually studied their cousins the guanacos in Chile, I've also seen my share of domestic alpaca and llamas and this looks exactly like a camelid's actual coat. There are also some gaps in the knitting on the neck of the sweater, but as it folds over, it won't show much and will still keep you warm. Really beautiful sweater, to wear in the fall or early spring, or maybe on a summer evening at the cottage or while camping. Will keep you super warm while sporting that bohemian hippie look. It's one size, although it won't fit plus sized people. Length without the fringes: 26 Colour of item may vary slightly from pics due to differences in device screens and lighting.
