Beautiful vintage thirteen piece set Myott’s Invitation dish set consisting of 4 teacups and 4 saucers, 4 dinner plates, and a large serving platter; this dinner set is perfect for a four person setting! “Invitation” is a rare, hard to find pattern featuring a scalloped shell design on a bright white base, displaying a band of blue floral and grey leaves, and marked “Myott’s Invitation - Fine Staffordshire Ware England - All Colours Guaranteed Permanent”. Manufactured in approximately the 1940’s, this set was loved; some dishes show no wear at all and others show signs of use, however there is much more life left. Very lovely and elegant for everyday use. This set is in good/excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. however there is crazing and discolouration/staining, as seen Measurements: Cups: Saucers: Plates: Platter: Vintage china often has small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
