Turn-of-the-century comic postcard featuring an anthropomorphic terrier in glasses and bow, with the cutting caption: “What on earth he sees in her, I can’t imagine.” Published by B.B. London (Series E 3), printed in Germany, with embossed image for extra pop. Back is inscribed to Humphrey Wilkenson with the note: “Mamma is coming home soon. M.R.” Unmailed but written.
Good condition with embossed detail intact. A perfect example of Edwardian humor-meets-dogs — basically the meme format of 1910.

Publisher: Left back edge reads B.B. London, Series No. E 3, Printed in Germany. (German printers were top-notch in the postcard boom era.)
