Vintage 1920’s Bewley pottery Art Deco hand painted floral jug

Vintage 1920’s Bewley pottery Art Deco hand painted floral jug. Bewley pottery was made in Stoke on Trent, under its parent name Bailey potteries in England. This lovely milk / Cream jug is from the 1920s, it belonged to my grandmother. It’s been in my cabinet for over 25 years. The shape of the drug is very art deco, the handle is a lovely shape, almost like lily leaf, a lovely flair to the shape. I love the hand painted florals and the colours, the cornflowers mixed with the autumn hues really bring out the blues, the muted colours in the background give it a softness in keeping with its age.
