Vintage 1925 & 1930 magazines: Needlecraft - The Magazine of Home Arts

A gorgeous set of vintage Needlecraft publications, one from 1925 and two themed magazines (Czechoslovakia and Germany) from 1930. Each magazine contains original patterns and tips related to crochet, lacework, knitting, and embroidery as well as articles on home decor, recipes, entertaining, and fashion during the Roaring Twenties and Dirty Thirties. They also contain fascinating and frame-worthy advertisements. Black & white and colour illustrations. The 1925 magazine is approximately 13” x 10.5”. The 1930 magazines are approximately 13.75” x 10”. As these magazines are close to a century old, they have some expected age-related wear. Please review the pictures carefully. As depicted, there is minor wear at the spine, some loose pages, tiny tears, and some creases and worn deckling of the page edges. These magazines offer a fascinating window into a long-ago era. They would be perfect for an ephemera collector or a craft historian, or for use in scrapbooking, junk journaling, graphic design inspo, and mixed media art projects.
