Vintage 1930-1949 Stratton Made in England Cecil Golding Ballet Powder Compact

This is a lovely Stratton powder compact depicting a scene of the ballet 'Les Sylphides' with Anna Pavlova. It’s taken from a painting (the Rapture) by American artist Cecil Golding. Cecil Golding was an American painter who gave Stratton sole right to reproduce three drawings of the ballet in 1956. Signed : Stratton made in England inside in 2 places, & Cecil Golding on the front face (partially worn). Approx : 3.3in. Somewhat worn, scratched & Naturally distressed which adds to the character, in my opinion. Has some powder residue as seen on the photos. In good vintage condition.
