Vintage 1930s Early Plastic Belt Buckle / Machine Age Art Deco

A gorgeous belt buckle that’s nearly a century old. Early plastic, blue-grey marbled squares on metal. Feels a bit German machine-age to me, though I’m not sure of its provenance. I’ve had it for years and I’m gradually parting with my stuff. The metal is tarnished as you can see. The buckle is in working order, just needs a belt strap! Or, perhaps you are one of those clever people who can turn this into an amazing pendant or pair of earrings. Either way, a pretty cool piece.
