Vintage 1931 magazines: Needlecraft - The Magazine of Home Arts

A beautiful set of themed vintage Needlecraft publications from 1931 - Argentina/Spain, Belgium, and Russia. Each magazine contains original patterns and tips related to crochet, knitting, lacework, and embroidery as well as articles on home economics, decorating, entertaining, and fashion during the Great Depression. They also contain gorgeous advertisements. Black & white and colour. Each magazine is approximately 13” x 10.25” inches. These magazines are over 90 years old, so they show expected age-related wear; they are in fair condition. Please review the photos carefully. As depicted, although each magazine is intact, there are spinal cracks, light creases, some pages have come loose from the binding, and there is minor deckling of the page edges. The Russia magazine has a square cut out on its back page, likely when the original owner clipped a coupon. These magazines provide a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era. They would also be perfect for use in scrapbooking, junk journaling, mixed media art, as graphic design inspiration and for the ephemera collector. Sold as a set of three. Not for individual sale.
