1940 Ball gown worn as wedding dress Note* I’m not sure if the jacket was original with the gown but they were purchased at the dime time and worn as wedding dress. Built in Hip Bustle shown in photo Layers or Tull and satin Built in corset in strapless upper Original petticoat is satin upper with cotton skirt (snap closure needs repair) An absolutely stunning vintage dress. No size tags so pay attention to measurements. 16” pit to pit on gown upper corset 13” across front of dress waist laying flat (high waisted era) 41” waist to floor length 13” across petticoat waist laying flat 17” armpit to armpit jacket NO RETURN on this item - know what your buying Note* small dark dot stain on lower right front of jacket, have not tires to remove Left wrist button on jacket needs button hole repair. There was a repair made to rear bottom hem of gown after prom in 1960😊 shown in photo This gown is in amazing condition for its 83 years!!
